I’m wondering how to deal with things that seem to be in different areas, yet possibly in more than area.

Examples:

Logins. I have logins in a password manager which are for work, some personal, some for a previous freelance job. I could have a section logins, or a section work, personal, new work. But how do I handle the intersection logins-work, logins-personal, logins-freelance.

Budgeting. Same thing. I could have a personal budget or a work budget. Does it go in budgeting or work or personal?

Storage systems like PC, Notion, Capacities, Obsidian. Is the theme the system which can store data from different areas. The system can be divided into workspaces. Do I use in JDEX the system or the area. i.e. Notion-Personal or Personal-Notion?

Start with the Workbook (PDF) – it’s free, and walks you through the basic setup. Questions like this are exactly the reason we wrote it.

Basically what you need to do here is to collect all of the stuff you’re interested in organising and ‘shuffle sort’ it into a system that makes sense for you. Will that end up being like budget > personal or personal > budget? I can’t say. But one of those will be the result, and there you are.
