Until today, you’ve required separate accounts to log in to the forum, and at johnnydecimal.com. These accounts are being connected.
From today, you can log in to the forum with your Johnny.Decimal account.
Forum passwords will stop working on 15 November 2026.
To log in
- Click Log In and choose With your Johnny.Decimal account.
- Sign in with the email address of your forum account.
If you already have a Johnny.Decimal account with that address
Your accounts are already connected. Your posts, your username and your settings stay as they are.
If you don’t have a Johnny.Decimal account with that address
Sign up using the email address of your forum account. You’ll need to set a new password.
If your Johnny.Decimal account has a different address to your forum account
- Log in to the forum with your password before 15 November 2026.
- A banner at the top of the page has a Connect Johnny.Decimal account button. Click it.
- Confirm, then sign in to your Johnny.Decimal account if required. Your accounts are now connected.
If you see a form to create a new forum account
If you already have a forum account, don’t complete the form. Instead:
- Sign out at johnnydecimal.com/sign-out.
- Log in to the forum again, and sign in with the email address of your forum account.
If you completed the form by mistake, send me a message and I’ll merge the two accounts.
Other changes
- Forum notifications go to the email address of your Johnny.Decimal account. To change the address, change it in your Johnny.Decimal account: see Change your email address. The forum uses the new address from your next login.
- Log Out on the forum also signs you out of johnnydecimal.com.
- Forum two-factor authentication and forum passkeys stop working on 15 November 2026.
- When you log in with your Johnny.Decimal account, the forum doesn’t ask for your forum second factor.
- To protect your login, add a passkey or an authenticator app to your Johnny.Decimal account in its security settings.
