Setup after completing 43.03

Currently working through the workbook, very slowly.
It’s amazing and transformative. I’m very thankful for having found this; the workbook is not just a recap of how the system is constructed, but a very pedagogical method of creating a system.

I’ve found two steps invaluable;

  1. 20-29 Discovery was essential to create a good structure. It ended up quite different from my initial attempts.
  2. IDs was the hardest concept. What is the scope and size of an ID? Here, the explanation in 40-49 Build your system (video) was invaluable and really made it click.

Anyway, here is what I came up with. I would love any feedback before I start putting more stuff in.
I’ve included some items going back in time, and will surely find some more I want to include once I really dig into our old binders… :cold_sweat:

Reviewing it now, I will probably merge 21.xx Purchases 20xx into a single 21.01 Other purchases with sub folders per year.

Love it. I just showed Lucy this post, we appreciate the kind words and are very very happy that the workbook is useful.

This is a nice system. I like how compact it is; lots of room to grow.

15 Doing things, activities and travels is a nicely named category. :slight_smile:

Overall, yeah, good stuff.
