In the Life admin pack 11.02 is for ‘System manual
’.
As I see 12.03-the-standard-zeros, there is a kind of conflict for those who want to use it for ‘Work in progress’ ID.
What do you think ?
Do we move the 11.02 System manual to an other ID ?

Proposition #1: create the area 00-09 :
Move 11.02 System manual to 00.00 Index
Proposition #2 move in an other Life admin ID
Move 11.02 System manual to 00.00 Index to 11.34 Habits, routines, & planning
Hmmm interesting. For me, I feel like habits, routines and planning would be ongoing, the system manual isn’t an index. It would make sense to me for me to have it in 00-10 somewhere, with other JD manuals and possibly GTD. Together. I don’t know what the best name would be, maybe system manualS.
Or, I would probably put the system manual with all of my other PKM courses/workshops.
While we used AC.01 and AC.09 in the system, you’ll notice we made no mention of ‘the standard zeros’ anywhere.
This was deliberate. The assumed audience for QS:LA is a beginner, and the concept can be confusing. Heck, it still confuses me sometimes.
I’d put this either at 00.00 or just give it a regular ID in that category, 00.11 System manual.
Thank you for your enlightening answers.
As I am in the process of migrating my structure to QS:LA, I would really like to release ID 11.02 for the WIP.
At the same time, if I create an area 00-09 just to store JD manuals, this will increase the number of areas and clutter up the overall system for no good reason. I fully understand why this subject isn’t addressed in QS:LA (and why it shouldn’t be).
I’ll find a place for it elsewhere, like 11.34 or 11.83 and restore 11.02 Work in progress
Actually, what am I talking about? I told you it was confusing! ![]()
Category 10 Life admin area management is what this is for! Not a new area. ![]()
The manual doesn’t relate to your whole system. It relates to this area. So 10.00 or an ID from 10.11 would be a good place and only requires the creation of one otherwise-unused category.
Yes I understand and of course it’s far more logical ![]()
For the moment like @Jayde20, I prefer to host the index in the structure and saving a category and AC.ID folders for a single subject.
To see over time how it is managed in use
