I am volunteering as a board member for a small charity / foundation. I would like to manage artefacts with the Johnny.Decimal system. I am currently using the LAS for my personal system.
I think the 11.52 Groups, clubs, & volunteering ID will not suffice and that I might need something more to stay organised, but I don’t think a separate system is necessary, too.
I would really like to hear your working examples, thoughts or experiences on this.
I have some requirements / pre-requisites upfront
- 11.52 will not do, extending it probably also not
- I don’t want a separate, extra system but keep it in my personal system
- I prefer not to add extra IDs or categories inside LAS, but am open to considering, please provide any arguments
- I think I’ll need a new area (20-29) or category in that area, but have not yet given thought to the structure.
