Good point – but I cannily avoided it by not using the term ‘collection of indexes’, in the end. 
Here it is. Feedback very welcome, though I think I’m set on this.[1] Lucy and I have given it a lot of thought, in the context of all of the material we’ve already written and the Workshop which we’re in the process of producing.
