Right-o, I think that’s nicer.
The core JD concepts – i.e. the johnnydecimal.com website – has its own category, with sub-categories that align with most of the site’s categories. I didn’t bother creating a separate category for 12 Advanced concepts or 15 Patterns & templates.
The two pre-built systems now each have their own category, with sub-categories matching the structure of the system.
I’ve turned on the ‘sub-category view’ on each of those parent categories, so they serve as a really nice home-page-like view. Clicking the category in the left navigation pane will take you there.

I like it a lot. The hierarchical reveal-pattern that Discourse provides seems a fairly good fit for this. I’m glad you maintain this forum, alongside Discord.
