A friend just told me about the Johnny Decimal system after I told them about the app I was building. I’ve read about the system and think it’s great!
Creating files manually is the tedious part though, and that’s the area that File Architect is trying to improve. So I thought it would be a good idea to share it here.
File Architect allows you to quickly create file and folder structures from plain text.
I built this for myself since I found it difficult to organize things fast on my mac and I think this could benefit some other fans of well-organized structures.
The app is still in the early days, but communities like this one are precisely the ones I want to work for. I’d be happy to get some feedback if you have any.
