Create new categories in life admin pack or whole new area?

Just bough the life admin pack (looks great). For me personally I have a lot of house projects and Auto projects going on. If I broke up 12, the where I live (house) and how I get around (cars) then I’d have to shift one to 16 as keeping where I live 12 and making how I get around 13 would bugger up existing 13 Money! I would like to have 16 House - 16.00 Jdex, 16.02 inbox 16.03 Projects - Mini Split, Fence, windows ……. Would like to do same thing for Autos. Perhaps I need to have a totally new Area for projects like 20-30.

Suggestions?

Is there a reason not to use the existing IDs 12.24 for Home Improvement projects, and 12.33 for car projects?

I have a lot of projects running on my house too, and this is where it feels right to break the rules and add some more depth[1].

12.24 Renovations & Improvements
  001 Back Fence.md     <-- smaller projects just a text file ...
  002 Bathroom/         <-- bigger projects get a folder ...

Or you could add more IDs:

12.24 Renovations & Improvements
12.2401 Back Fence
12.2402 Bathroom
12.2403 ...
12.25 Repairs, Maintenance & Upkeep

EDIT: it might depend also on how these areas fit into your life. Do you see working on cars as a hobby, at least in part? Are you going to be renovating your house forever, because you enjoy it? Then maybe make these separate areas. If, on the other hand, you envision the house being DONE at some point, maybe there’s a lot of projects, but you’re looking forward to finishing and moving on with your life – then maybe try to fit it into category 12.

Thanks for the great ideas! Here in he USA our houses are built out of paper (wood) so I do foresee this as an ongoing project until I am “pushing up the daisies” or we move :slight_smile: I do have about 30 or so projects that are all in folders now in Interior and Exterior I’ve done since 2007.
