That’s an interesting workaround ![]()
I’m personally running all my actions and projects in one single md file in my JD system, so I don’t have that problem. Happy to share my setup to anyone interested ![]()
One file! I’d love to see it – always interested in different setups.

Chiming here regarding the Obsidian links video (watching right now on my phone) to mention that there’s a setting in Obsidian to do that automatically unless you prefer to get prompted to update them instead…
…but interesting look at the Advanced URL community plugin by the way. I also know there’s a VS Code extension that do that too (might be Roam/Foam related but will come back once I checked it again later this week).
Regarding the Claude integration flow through the JDex MCP and plus the recent video on organization stuff (from yesterday Philippine Standard Time), I am at the works for setting up the MCP server on the Google Gemini app (mainly for Spark since I have claimed the free year trial perk of Google AI Pro until October 11 with plans to switch over to the discounted student plan with YouTube Premium bundle (have the student subscription active separately)), but I am getting the Account linking is required to use this custom app. Try again. error but DevTools Network tab on Firefox has hints in the form of invalid_scope (aka The requested scope is invalid, unknown, or malformed. The OAuth 2.0 Client is not allowed to request scope 'profile'. as passed back to Google Gemini’s calback_uri from Clerk). Any plans on looking onto that?
This is a great setting and you should have it on – but it can only update Obsidian’s internal links. It can’t update that link I dropped over in Things. If that link has the filename in it, it’s always going to break if I rename the file.
