# Forum profile updates

I’d like to update my profile (email and full name, not username) but can’t seem to edit these. Is this a system setting or am i doning something wrong?

Weird. I found a setting that should now allow you to change your email. It was unchecked.

But I can’t find anything online about your real/display name. Which you would have thought would have been a really boring operation! Let me know what you’d like it changed to and I’ll do it on the back-end.

Hmmm. Changing email (and name) is not working. This is what I see in the Account tab in my preferences. Don’t know what my authentication provider would be. I signed up with email in the first place.
